I taught myself to build on the internet.

I grew up in a village in Bihar, India. In 2017, while still in school, I published my first YouTube video and wrote my first blog post. For two years they earned nothing. I kept publishing.

That work became Yorker Media — a digital publishing company that builds and runs web publications and YouTube channels, read and watched by people around the world.

I believe in owned assets over rented reach, evergreen over trending, and the long term over the short. Everything I know about this business I learned by doing it. Here is the story.
