Announcing a new series of posts about product business.

Earlier last week, I started a series of posts about making money from the Internet by running a services business. I wrote a total of six posts in my series.

In those posts, I explained the differences between freelancing and a services business. Then I went on to explain that freelancers outsource some of their work and think of it as a services business.

Next, I wrote about how one can start a services business. After it, my next post was about finding clients for a services business. Then I wrote about how to build a team for a services business.

Lastly, I wrote a special post yesterday in which I discussed why employees leave an organisation and what business owners should do to retain them.

I think I have written most of the things that I wanted to share about running a services business. So, now It is better to end this series instead of dragging to more posts.

Moving forward, If you have read my legitimate ways to make money online post.

There are majorly two types of businesses you can build online 1. Services Business 2. Product Business.

As I have already explained everything about running a services business. Next up I will write about product business.

What I think we can divide product business into two categories: 1. Media Business 2. Non-media business.

As some of you guys know, I am currently running a digital media business called Yorker Media. It owns and operates four tech websites. All of our sites have a combined traffic of 300k+ monthly visitors. So my main experience is around running a digital media business.

Many people call it Blogging, but I like to take it as a media business. I will also be explaining why I think so.

I know most of you guys are Bloggers, and you were waiting for my posts about Blogging. I wasn’t writing them because I first wanted to write about all the series that I have written so far in the last three months. I have finally written about all those topics, and now finally, I will be writing about running a media business.

This series will consist of several posts, and I will aim to write almost everything I know about growing media business. I can promise that if you follow all the posts, you will have sound knowledge of Blogging.

I will publish the first post of the series tomorrow, so please stay tuned.
