How You Can Join the Mediavine Ad Network on Your Blog

· 3 min read

This is how you can join the Mediavine ad network on your blog and grow your ad revenue.

In yesterday’s post, I discussed how you could join the Ezoic ad network on your blog and grow your ad revenue. Moving forward, the next ad network I mentioned in my list of best ad networks was Mediavine.

So, in today’s post, let’s talk about how you can join the Mediavine ad network on your blog.

Mediavine is one of the largest exclusive ad networks available today. The company works with over 9000 publishers. As of now, they have 12000+ websites running Mediavine ads.

With so many happy publishers, Mediavine has done something right. Now the question most of you may have in your mind is how one can join Mediavine and what are the signup requirements. So let’s first talk about it.

Mediavine has one of the toughest eligibility criteria in the industry. The ad network requires 50000+ sessions in the last 30 days to be eligible for filling out the application form.

Earlier, this number used to be 25000 sessions, but they doubled the eligibility criteria to 50000 sessions, making it challenging for small publishers.

Now, if you just achieve the traffic numbers and think you will join Mediavine, then that’s not the case. There are a few more things that you must fulfill. The most traffic to your website should be from Tier-1 countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

If most of your blog’s traffic is from Asian countries, then Mediavine will straightaway reject your application. Next, your content should be evergreen and detailed in nature. Your every post should have 500+ words of content.

Now if you fill in all these criteria, you are ready to apply for Mediavine. You just need to visit their website and complete the application form by entering all the details. After you submit the application form, you will need to give access to your Google Analytics view.

The Mediavine will manually review your application and reply within a week or so. If your blog meets the criteria, they will give the green signal. Next, they will send your website for Google’s approval. It usually takes another 2-3 days for Google to approve.

After it, Mediavine will analyze your site’s structure and, if needed, will ask you to make some changes. After it, they will ask you to remove ads from your previous ad network, and then they will launch your site.

In the first week, your earnings may be more or less the same as your previous ad network. But after that period, the RPMs will just take off. I have first-hand experience working with Mediavine.

I have two blogs running Mediavine ads. The last one joined this year on 28th February. In the first month of joining, the site made $1265 in ad revenue at a sessions RPM of close to $18.

In comparison, when I was in Adsense for the month of February, the same site earned $300. So, an increase of 4x. In April, the RPMs increased even further to $22.

So, after using Mediavine on my blogs, I can confirm it is one of the best ad networks out there. If you think your site will get approved for Mediavine, then you must give it a try.

That’s all I wanted to share in this post.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
