Making $1500+ Per Month by Running Ads on Your Blog
This is how you can make $1500+ per month by running ads on your blog.
In my yesterday’s post, I wrote about how you can monetize and make money from your blog. I wrote you can make money in these ways:
- Advertising
- Affiliate Marketing
- Sponsored Posts
Out of all these three ways, advertising is the most popular monetization option for blogs. Advertising is the way that most bloggers try first when trying monetization. So in today’s post, I will explain how you can make money by running ads on your blog in detail. So keep on reading.
So you started your blog and kept publishing new articles regularly. After a few months of doing this consistently your blog will start getting some visitors. Let’s say 200-300 visitors a day. This is the time when you start thinking about monetization options.
Most bloggers start looking to monetize their blog right after launching it. Even when their site is hardly getting any organic visitors, they start trying to get Adsense approval which they never get.
Now think what will happen even if they get the approval with ten visits a day; they are not going to make any money. So, the first goal should be getting a decent number of visitors, and then only it makes sense to look for monetization options.
Let’s assume your blog started getting a decent amount of visitors; now, you should think about monetization options. You can go with the delicate combination of ads and affiliates.
Talking about making money from ads, the most popular option we have today is Google Adsense. You know Google is the biggest player in the advertising space.
With so many software products under its umbrella, it attracts all the popular advertisers. This is what makes Google Adsense so successful, and thousands of publishers chose it as their programmatic ad partner.
Google Adsense works with sites with pretty much every language and region. So, there is a chance of getting the approval.
Now to get the approval, all you need is a site with a good design with proper navigation menus at the header and footer, high-quality content, and regular visitors. If you fulfill all these criteria, you can apply for Adsense, and there is a high chance that you will easily get approval.
Next, when you get the approval, Adsense offers two types of ad placement: Manual and Automatic. Leverage both the ad placements and insert manual ad codes at common places like header, sidebar, paragraphs, etc. For the rest, you can also enable auto ads.
Once ad codes are placed, Google will start showing ads based on demand at any given point in time. Talking about the payment, Adsense has a minimum threshold of $100, and it makes payments on the 21st of every month. Suppose you earned $100+ between 1-30 April, then Adsense will release that payment on 21 May.
So this was about Adsense. Other than Adsense, we have some other ad networks like Ezoic, Mediavine, and Raptive. In the coming posts, I will also talk about them and let you know if there are any better than Adsense.
For now, that’s all in this post. I hope you learned something valuable.
Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
