My Experience with Fiverr as a Level-1 Content Writing Seller
My experience with Fiverr offering Content Writing services as a Level-1 seller.
Hi Everyone,
In my last few posts, I wrote about using Fiverr to get clients, five tips for creating a solid Gig and a simple tip to succeed on Fiverr. In today’s post, I will write about my experience with Fiverr offering content writing services.
I heard about Fiverr back in 2017 and created my first account at the same time. But it wasn’t until April 2020 I published my first Gig on Fiverr. And my first Gig was not about Content Writing. It was about WordPress development. I got huge success providing WordPress services so I also tried publishing a Gig for content writing. I waited a few months but didn’t receive any order for content writing on that Fiverr account.
Later, in May 2021 I was working on a new Fiverr account. This time my primary Gig was WordPress development but I also had a Gig for content writing. The base price of my Gig was only $5. After waiting for a couple of weeks I received a message for my content writing services. It was for writing a Website Content basically About Us page for a company called BigPassport which sells Webcams, Headsets, etc. I had a conversation and he placed the order for $10. It took me a few hours to complete the order and I delivered it. The client rated my services 5 stars with a nice review.
Once I had received the first order on my Gig it started ranking much better in the Fiverr search. I started receiving more messages and orders for my content writing services. The next client I got was in the WordPress niche. I wrote a few articles about fixing issues related to WordPress. Then I got a client who was looking for a buying guide on the best SSDs for PS5. I kept getting more and more orders. As the demand grew for my services I started increasing my Gig pricing. I was surprised there were more buyers after increasing the prices.
I went on to get a client with a weekly requirement for 5000 words and he started doing bulk orders every week. Later, I also received an order amounting $100 for one article on Best Note Taking Tablets. By this time, I started liking to offer content writing services more than WordPress development so I stopped taking orders on my WordPress Gig and started focusing on the content writing Gig.
I continued offering content writing services on Fiverr until November 2021. I started in May 2021 so I worked for around 6 months. In this period I received a good amount of orders. I was giving my best to the clients and it reflected in the reviews and ratings I received. Every single rating I had on my account was five stars with nice reviews.
So this was my experience offering my services on Fiverr as a content writer. Many of my readers reach out to me and say they have tried Fiverr but didn’t receive any orders even after several months of joining the platform. I wanted to write this post to let all of you know that it is possible to get good clients from Fiverr and I have personally experienced it. If you haven’t found luck yet then please read my last couple of posts about creating a Gig that sells and staying online on the platform. Keep trying and you will also succeed on Fiverr.
That’s it in this post. I hope you enjoyed reading it.
Thanks!
