The One Thing That Will Guarantee Your Success on Fiverr

· 3 min read

Doing this one thing will guarantee your success on Fiverr.

In yesterday’s post, I shared five tips to create a Fiverr Gig that sells. However, one complaint freelancers working on Fiverr always had is not getting orders even after creating a solid Gig. If you are also not getting orders on Fiverr then keep reading this post. Today, I will share a simple tip that will help you get more orders and succeed on Fiverr.

What I have witnessed most beginners joining Fiverr create their Gig and start waiting for messages and orders from clients. They only log to their account once in a day or even sometimes completely forget about it. Not just that there are few freelancers who login to their account once a week and still think they will get orders.

The way the Fiverr algorithm is tuned, it prioritises sellers who are online on the platform. As soon as a seller comes online the Fiverr algorithm starts ranking their Gig better than earlier. It single handedly increases the chances of getting more messages from clients and ultimately more orders.

I am not saying it just for the sake of writing one extra post. I have grown two Fiverr accounts to Level-1 seller within two months and I am sure it can’t be a coincidence. I didn’t do anything extraordinary other than staying online on the platform for all the waking hours.

So, if you are also serious about Fiverr and not staying on the platform then you are missing out upon the biggest opportunity. Only implement this tip for a couple of weeks and if you don’t get any result you can ask me.

As soon as you are on your work desk open Fiverr in one Tab. While working, refresh the Fiverr tab once in a while. When not at your desk you can use the Fiverr app on your smartphone and check it once every few minutes.

It will give a signal to Fiverr algorithm and it will rank your Gigs way above than the offline sellers. Not just the algorithm, most experienced Fiverr buyers use Online filters to filter the sellers who are online at the moment. If you are online it is most likely you will receive a message from some of them.

Think of your Fiverr account as an offline shop in a mall. You will get customers only when you have opened your shop. Treat Fiverr similarly and you will get as many orders that you wouldn't believe.

I have personally witnessed how staying online helps getting orders on Fiverr. I remember when I was actively trying Fiverr, one night I slept early and woke up at 2:30 A.M. I have a bad habit of opening all the apps on my phone so I also opened Fiverr.

As soon as I was online my Gig started ranking and I received a message from a buyer. A couple of replies and the client placed an order for $100. This is not the only incident when staying online helped me get an order; it is the same for most orders I received on the platform.

So, staying online is the one tip that I wanted all of you to know and implement. I hope it will work out for you as well and you will get immense success on the platform.

Thank you all for reading this post.

Have a great day!
