How to Use Fiverr to Get Clients for Content Writing
This is how you can use Fiverr to get clients for Content Writing.
Hi Everyone, In yesterday’s post I explained how you can use freelance platforms to get clients for your content writing services. I mentioned these three platforms: Fiverr, Upwork and Freelancer. Starting today, I will write about how you can use these platforms to get clients.
I have personally used Fiverr and reached Level-1 seller there so I have real-life experience working there. That’s why I would like to start this series of posts talking about Fiverr.
Most of you already know about Fiverr. A few of you who are new to freelancing and don't know about Fiverr. It is a freelance platform which connects clients and freelancers. Fiverr works on a concept where freelancers create a listing of their services called as Gig. The minimum price which you can set for your Gig is $5 and that’s why the name Fiverr. Although the base price for Gigs is just $5 you can price your services to up to $10000.
Now when you have a brief idea about the concept of Fiverr. The next step is to Join Fiverr and become a Seller. If you don’t know how to do it there are tons of free videos on YouTube which you can watch and complete the process. When you have become a seller, the next step is to create your first Gig.
While creating your Gig make sure you use keywords in the Gig Title. It will help your Gig rank in Fiverr search and this is how you are going to get your first client. While pricing your Gig as a new seller, start your Basic package with just $5. A cheaper price for your services will attract buyers running out on budget and you will get your first order faster.
I am asking you to offer your services for cheap so you can get the first few orders and reviews. Just a few orders will push your Gig higher in the search, leading to more orders. As demand grows for your services you can slowly increase your pricing to your current standard. This is the exact same old school strategy I used to grow on Fiverr.
One complaint I always hear from beginners joining Fiverr is no orders even after months of joining the platform. What I have experienced is if you are not online on Fiverr your chances of getting orders reduced. So, I suggest everyone to stay online for as long as you are available. You can open Fiverr in one tab and keep refreshing the tab every once in a while. When you are online Fiverr pushes your Gig above others who are not online on the platform.
Also, Fiverr has a filter which lets buyers filter from the sellers who are online currently. Doing this one little thing will increase your chances of getting your first order on Fiverr asap. When you receive messages on Fiverr try to respond within a few minutes. And when you receive your first order make sure to provide the best service in your capacity. Your goal should be to grab a five star rating and a review from the buyer. This will convince more buyers to place orders from you.
So basically this is how you can use Fiverr to get clients for your content writing services. I hope some of you find it helpful and give Fiverr a try.
That’s it for this post.
